Call someone 'Shameless,' win $500
Posted January 24, 2013
Last week Shameless returned for a third season on Showtime. Bolstered by a mighty cast that includes William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum, the series follows the Gallagher family, a dysfunctional clan that exhibits behavior reflective of the series' title.
Showtime is promoting the dramedy's return with the Shameless Awards, an online competition that asks users to nominate "shameless" people in their lives. The categories are pretty funny and include "Shameless Stroking of Celebrity Egos to Get Replies on Social Media" and "Shameless Spoiling of TV Shows for People Who Haven't Seen Them Yet." (Hey, I know people who easily fit into both of those!)
Anyway, there's a pretty good incentive to enter: Each week, one participant will win $500. So go forth and potentially embarrass your friends. If you win, treat 'em to a shameless dinner.
