Kelly Clarkson talks inauguration, wedding 'breakdown'

"We're just kind of overwhelmed with the planning of the wedding," Kelly Clarkson told K-Frog radio in an interview this week of her upcoming marriage to Brandon Blackstock.
"We're actually thinking fall this year and we're thinking outside," she said, spilling some wedding deets during the chat. "We're trying to make it small, but it is hard. I literally had a breakdown two weeks ago about the wedding list."
While she has no problem with public performances, she says, "I'm terrified of everyone watching me walk down the aisle."
But after it's over, she says, she's excited about the fact that Blake Shelton will be playing at the reception. Makes sense considering the connections involved: Blackstock, who manages Blake Shelton, is the son of Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock, and Reba McEntire's stepson.
The American Idol champ also talked about, yes, the inauguration. "I'm so glad it's over. I was so nervous."
As for Beyoncé and the lip-syncing scandal, Clarkson says, "I feel bad for her. Take it from a girl who's actually stood there and done it. It's the most nerve-racking situation. And it was cold, y'all. It was so cold. Also, that event isn't about me or James Taylor or Beyoncé. That event is about Obama and Biden and our history and our country. I get the fact that she was like. this isn't about me, so I don't want to mess up. I don't want this to ruin this moment. Don't think I didn't think about, 'Oh shoot, I shoulda totally lip-synced this.' "
And no, she says, she had no idea Bill Clinton was photobombing her. "Everyone was peeking around. I just think it was kind of funny someone caught him. The look on his face. It was just funny."
