Great breakfast place! Plus, the cluttery décor makes me happy. I can never have too many Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Beatles, and Elvis do-dads hanging out around me. I am a big fan of the food and haven’t even tried the famous biscuits yet.

Last time I was here was with Miss Lady and I wouldn't shut up about the biscuits.
"Order the Hobo Scramble."
"But I'm not big on eggs."
"But it comes with a biscuit and gravy!"
"But... it's a SCRAMBLE and I'm NOT BIG ON EGGS."
"BISCUIT!"
Unfortunately, they were all out of biscuits that morning. I was bummed, but then, you know, I thought that was awesome. How rare is it for a place to be so authentic and homemade as to RUN OUT of a popular dish of theirs? To me, this means that they had the scruples, the integrity, to not run over to Costco or Vons and buy some cheap ready-made biscuits. They had the honesty and confidence in their product to say, "Sorry, we're all out."
But seriously, I was bummed about not having that dang-old biscuit. They're incredible.
