It's a restaurant. They serve mac n cheese, paninis, and pizza. That is as much the end of the story as it is the beginning.
I ordered a grilled cheese with chorizo and potato. It was fine. Wife ordered a vegetarian panini. It was also fine. The spinach artichoke dip? Fine.
I don't know what this place is doing such that it continues to survive in an upscale neighborhood like 4S Ranch, let alone how it was able to expand into San Marcos (it's much better sister, Sublime Ale House). I'm really confused. It's just a restaurant. How are people that can afford more than "just a restaurant" keeping this place open?
Maybe it's not for long; the restaurant was mostly empty when we went, but that could just be typical Monday business. Regardless, I don't need to go back here. I tried three dishes, and I think I know what the rest will taste like based on that.
